The southern flooding disaster has resulted in severe destruction to both the economy and properties, impacting over 2.9 million individuals and causing economic damages exceeding 500 billion baht.
Southern Thai ports, particularly Songkhla port, are facing logistical disruptions due to recent severe flooding, causing delays in road transport and affecting crew changes and other services. While operations are not fully suspended, expect delays of several days for shipments and potential limitations on maritime activities. Alternative routing is in place for road transport, adding transit time, and air freight is available but with constraints.
Our prayers are with the affected but would like to assure all our clients that we will endeavour to keep exports and imports moving to the best of our ability.
